Message Board

The UVC Message Board is a place to promote local organizations and upcoming events, as well as showcase photos from the community. Message Board announcements are broadcast on channel 19 between programs throughout the day.

Submission Guidelines

Events

If you would like to add a community event to the Message Board, e-mail your submission to messageboard@uvctv19.com. Make sure to adhere to the following guidelines:

• JPG or PNG format only, 640x480 pixels
• Include organization name and all relevant information (location, date, admission, etc.) in the image
• Send file as attachment, include contact name and phone number in body of e-mail

Photos

If you want to add photos to the Message Board, follow these steps:

1. Create a Flickr account and join the Amherst Lens group.
2. Upload your photos to Flickr (only photos that YOU took and own).
3. Give each photo a title and add a caption and the photographer's name to the description.
4. On the photo's page, click the Send to Group button above the photo and select the Amherst Lens.

Every week, we'll select the most interesting photos from the pool and put them on channel 19.
